Mondsee Hohenmölsen

West of Leipzig, near Hohenmölsen, the 84-meter-long giant slide at the Mondsee Beach not only delights children. In addition to a DLRG-supervised beach area, there is also a nudist section and a designated dog beach.

The shallow shores of the 36-hectare Mondsee are perfect for families with young children. On the large sunbathing lawn, you’ll find plenty of space to soak up the sun after a refreshing swim, relax, or play volleyball, badminton, or table tennis. Anglers praise the waters for being particularly rich in species. There is a campground available for both short stays and seasonal visitors.
