At Museum Bischofshofen, a journey through 5000 years of the region's settlement history awaits you. 🕰️
Discover diverse archaeological finds, such as clay vessels, decorative fibulae, and a replica of a smelting furnace, which will introduce you to the craftsmanship of earlier times.
A special exhibit is dedicated to mining archaeology and highlights a research project from the Arthurstollen at Palfnerkogel. You can also see a copy of the Rupertus Cross, which is considered a major work of Anglo-Saxon art on the continent.
