Description

Museum Quintana in Künzing tells the story of over 7,000 years across about 700 m² – from the first farmers of the Neolithic period through the Romans at the Limes to the early medieval Baiuvarii.

The focus is on the Roman fort Quintana, which welcomes you through four themed areas with vivid presentations, original artifacts, and playful elements.

Especially exciting for families is the PLAYMOBIL tour, which makes archaeology accessible and interactive for children. For kids up to 18 years, history becomes a real adventure! 🎲

Right next door, the wooden amphitheater of Künzing, part of the UNESCO World Heritage Danube Limes, invites you on an educational outing.

  • Family tours at Christmas in Roman times

  • Game day with joystick in the Roman Empire

  • Night tours with flashlights
