Description
White-cheeked geese fly overhead while a raccoon prowls on the ground and a fox mother watches over her young – you can experience all of this in Wilster! In the city’s Historic Storage building, you’ll find a natural history museum that brings local wildlife and plants closer to you.
In this former warehouse, an impressive natural history collection is now on display. In recreated habitats, you can discover fish, birds, and animals from fields and meadows – from the shy hare to the proud roe deer buck. A fascinating place for nature lovers, families, and anyone who wants to see the wildlife of northern Germany up close!
You can visit the museum every two weeks, or just ask to arrange a private visit for your group!
