Description
Naturpark Riedingtal delights with a harmonious blend of alpine nature and traditional cultural landscapes. For families with children aged 6 to 18 years, there are a variety of easily accessible hiking trails and themed paths that make exploring the area a fun adventure.
A modern visitor guidance system ensures environmentally friendly park access and protects the nature. Regularly, guided hikes, excursions, and exciting events such as the Almsommerfest and Almherbstfest invite you to enjoy music, local cuisine, and customs 🎶🌿.
The nature park is home to many wild animals: marmots, chamois, golden eagles, and rare birds like bearded vultures or wallcreepers offer fascinating watching opportunities. Alpine waters provide habitats for frogs and alpine newts, while over 300 species of butterflies reflect the area's natural diversity.
The Nature Park Center and numerous educational programs in cooperation with the University of Salzburg offer interactive experiences that bring nature and cultural knowledge to life. This makes visiting an educational adventure for both young and old!
