Naturschutz-Tierpark Görlitz-Zgorzelec

Description
A beautiful 5-hectare park is home to about 500 animals from 110 species. In naturalistic enclosures, you can find, among others, red pandas and otters. The Naturschutz-Tierpark sees its main missions as creating intense and emotional encounters between humans and animals, conserving endangered species, and protecting nature. Walk-in enclosures offer visitors new perspectives.
An adventure trail and various feeding stations in the "Lausitz Valley" provide close animal encounters. At the Upper Lusatian farm, you can brush goats, cuddle piglets and alpacas, and feed chicks with freshly grated carrots.
A highlight is the unique Tibetan village in Germany, with authentically recreated houses and Tibetan animals. The discovery barn and themed playgrounds, such as the UNESCO-awarded pet playground, not only delight but also encourage playful engagement with topics like globalization and sustainability.
