NSG Haseldorfer Binnenelbe

Description
The NSG Haseldorfer Binnenelbe covers around 2,160 hectares and is home to countless species of animals and plants. Thanks to a dike, part of the area is tide-independent and, combined with the Elbe River, meadows, beaches, and floodplain forests, offers ideal conditions for flora and fauna. Some plant species, like the cowbane water dropwort, are found only here worldwide. Whether relaxing at Hetlinger Beach, birdwatching from the NABU observation tower, or exploring the orchard in Haseldorf, the nature reserve has something for every nature lover!
To discover the beauty of the area and experience nature, you can enjoy long walks or varied bike tours. On the marked Wedel and Haseldorfer Marsh bike loop, you can feel the wind in your hair and savor the natural beauty.
