Obstgarten Haseldorf

From July to November, the two-hectare Obstgarten Haseldorf is a true paradise for pick-your-own fans. During this time, apples, pears, and plums are ripe and waiting for you to pick them. What’s especially exciting: 180 historic fruit varieties grow here, ones you won’t find in stores anymore – including famous names like “Schöne von Haseldorf” and “Gräfin von Paris.” The best part? You can harvest the fruit for free!

But even outside the picking season, it’s worth a visit. Sheep graze among the 500 trees, and you can relax wonderfully in the hammocks. The orchard is especially dreamy in spring when the trees are in full bloom.

The orchard is easiest to reach on foot or by bike. If you come by car, park at Haseldorfer Hafen. From there, follow the signs on a 15- to 20-minute walk along the coastal protection dike.
