Description
Revierpark Nienhausen is one of the oldest green spaces in the Ruhr area. The approximately 30-hectare park with various recreational facilities and the "Health Park" is located west of downtown Gelsenkirchen in the Feldmark district on the city border with Essen-Katernberg. According to the Ruhr regional plan, the facility, which opened in 1972, is one of the culturally significant regional landscapes.
