Description

The Römische Badruinen in Baden-Baden are among the best-preserved and most impressive Roman bath complexes in Baden-Württemberg. Here you can experience history up close as you walk between mighty Roman walls and enter an almost completely intact ancient bathhouse.

The highlight for explorers aged 7 to 14: An ancient hypocaust heating system provides cozy warmth under the floor and in the walls – a true technical marvel of antiquity!

Especially exciting are the monthly guided tours on the 2nd Saturday, lasting about 45 minutes. These offer deeper insights into the extraordinary Roman structure – prior registration by phone is required. The participation costs €7.50, including admission.

The admission price also includes multilingual audio guides (German, English, French) and an exciting video animation about the authentic design of the baths. This way you get a comprehensive picture of ancient bathing culture.
