Rudolf Proksch Hütte und Klesheimwarte

The Rudolf Proksch Hütte is a historic mountain hut (built 1930) and ideal for families: A short, family-friendly walk of about 30 minutes leads to the hut 🚶♂️.

At the nearby Kleßheim-Warte you can enjoy a wide panoramic view as far as Vienna, Hungary and the Schneeberg – a great viewpoint for children 👀.

The location in the Wienerwald makes the loop a relaxed forest experience; the path lies close to the Beethoven-Wanderweg, so nature and cultural walks can be combined. There is also a vending machine with chilled drinks (1- and 2-Euro coins) – handy if you arrive outside opening hours.
