Schloss Fachsenfeld

In the Schlosspark of Schloss Fachsenfeld you can set off on an exploration across roughly 7,8 hectares of English landscape garden. The site includes a park stage for seasonal open-air performances, a roof belvedere with views over the park and a historic aviary (since 1827) with peacocks 🦚.

Inside the Schloss itself you will find fully preserved and renovated rooms, including the Jugendstil-Bibliothek von 1903, the oldest room with a stone kitchen floor from the 17th century and the representative Gartensaal (Goldener Salon). For those interested in technology there is a permanent exhibition on vehicle aerodynamics with a screening room and two historic special car bodies, including a DKW-Rennwagen with four world records from 1931.
