At the SÜDBAHN Museum Mürzzuschlag you experience railway history up close: a walk-through escape game 'Time Traveller' takes you back in time and the large steam locomotive Steinbrück is regarded as the museum's great showpiece. 🚂
The museum tells the story of the Semmeringbahn – the world's first mountain railway – and its UNESCO status, and displays Austria's largest collection of draisine and railcar vehicles for children and train fans to discover.
For families there is a children's adventure trail as well as workshops, photo evenings and model-building activities – suitable from preschool age up to the die-hard rail enthusiast.
