Silbersee Wehdel

Silbersee Wehdel is located about 2 km south of the village of Wehdel, in the middle of a nature reserve. About 2 hectares of the 6.5-hectare lake, with a depth of around 8 meters, are open for swimming. The lake is regularly tested by the health department. Based on these tests, Silbersee Wehdel is certified to have excellent water quality for swimming.

Besides swimming, visitors can enjoy a playground, a small soccer field, a beach volleyball court, and a swimming island in the lake. The German Life Saving Association (DLRG) partially supervises swimming activities during summer holidays and weekends.
