Spielplatz Sattigplatz, Görlitz

The upper platform is accessible via a continuous ladder. You can choose to reach the middle level by crossing a hanging bridge. Once at the top, you can enjoy the view from a great height or immediately experience the thrilling slide down the tunnel slide at breathtaking speed. Warning, the use of any sliding aids is prohibited!

Jumping on the round platforms is not only fun, but you can also leap off in all directions like a diving board. The spring-enhanced bounce propels the jumper far out. Jumping from one platform to another is a special movement sequence and a challenge for younger children. The strap bridge is perfect for energetic play. The rubber strap stretched between the standing posts works like a kind of trampoline. If several players are involved, one can jump and fling the other high in the next area.

A play area is not complete without a swing. Children need opportunities to swing. The back-and-forth motion is a basic movement and enjoyable not just for little ones. Swinging releases tension, is comforting, and brings joy—especially when swinging side by side with someone else. For children, the rotating disk offers special fun, sometimes gentle, sometimes wild spinning. They experience centrifugal force and coordinate balance with walking motion. Most of all, it’s fun to be pushed by others or to provide the motion energy yourself. Kids can lie together on it, relax, and talk.

In winter, the small hill offers a chance for sledding. The flat lawn area is great for playing soccer.
