Description
Tiergehege der Stadt Greiz is located within the Greiz-Werdauer Wald protected landscape area.
Covering about 3 hectares, it is home to various animals, mainly native species. This includes red deer, the dominant species in the surrounding forests.
The animal enclosure was established in 1969. A key goal is to educate children and teenagers about the natural habits of the animals.
