Description

Nestled in the forest idyll on the northern outskirts of Zeulenroda-Triebes is the Tiergehege "Rabensleite" Zeulenroda-Triebes. Around 150 animals from 26 species live here in enclosures and aviaries. In addition to native red and fallow deer, you can also see sika deer, Himalayan tahr, raccoons, kangaroos, emus, and llamas.

Dwarf goats in the petting enclosure are waiting for cuddles from visitors, and with advance booking, children can also go for rides on ponies around the animal park.

There is also a nature trail that provides interesting information about the local wildlife.

Two playgrounds are available for young animal lovers to let off steam.

Tip: The Waldcafé Nüsschen, located on the grounds of the animal park, offers a delicious snack menu.
