In a historic five-gable house, one of the oldest buildings in Friedrichstadt, you’ll find the ceramics workshop of Doreen Stümpel. Here, the traditional craft of pottery is celebrated in a modern and artistic way. Visitors will be surprised by how contemporary and artistic the ceramics are.

Ceramics don’t have to be traditional—in fact, thin, clearly shaped vessels with unique, masterful paintings bring a fresh feel to this old craft. Alongside fine tableware, unique ceramic sculptures and objects are created that may become some of your favorites!

Visitors have the chance to watch the artist at work and chat with her in person.
