At Veřejné akvárium Česká Lípa, you'll find over 50 aquariums with more than 100 fish species and over 50 different habitats 🐠. Tropical fish and plants show how varied the underwater world is, and the tanks are designed to resemble the fish's natural habitats.

The animal stars include:

• Spotted metynnis, a relative of the piranha that feeds mainly on plants and algae
• Red neon tetra
• Florida crayfish
• Lemon cichlid

Children can take part in their own quiz contests, and visitors who prefer to explore the exhibition at their own pace can move through the tanks in their own time. There is also a free guided tour led by founder Petr Jasanský, lasting about 90 minutes and full of knowledge about fish and underwater worlds.
