Vogelpark Turnersee

At Vogelpark Turnersee, you can experience exotic birds up close in a natural setting that is distinctly different from typical zoos. The park is especially dedicated to breeding rare and protected bird species to ensure their survival in captivity and in the wild. Participating in release projects plays an important role in this effort.

Birds are usually kept in pairs here to encourage successful breeding at night – resulting in regular offspring of rare species. Many of the bred birds are sent to zoos worldwide to support global conservation efforts.

With over 3,000 birds from around 200 species, the Vogelpark is a well-known destination for ecotourism. For families, there is a cozy café, a shop, and a playground where children can enjoy wonderful hours.
