Description
The Rotenburg recreation area surrounding Weichelsee has become a true hotspot for leisure and water sports.
The small lake offers perfect conditions for swimming, sailing, surfing, and stand-up paddling. Additionally, sun lovers will find a spot to relax on the small sandy beach and the green meadow. There is a playground for children, and active land visitors can play frisbee or beach volleyball or take a walk along the approximately 1.5 km path around the lake.
At Weichelsee, "Strandgold" offers reliable on-site dining again. There are cool drinks and small snacks available. The location can also be rented for private events. www.strandgold-rotenburg.de
