Description

The Weinviertler Museumsdorf Niedersulz takes you back to everyday life around 1900 in a typical Weinviertel village – an exciting experience for the whole family.

A special highlight is the temporary exhibition featuring embroidered wall hangings and home textiles from that period, showcasing stereotypical images and sayings about female roles, offering fascinating cultural and historical insights.

You’ll also find historic transport vehicles from the region, including a striking 1915 hearse decorated with embroidered textiles – a unique attraction for both young and old.

For those wanting to dive even deeper, there is a media library with information about rural life around 1900. This becomes especially lively during the weekend events titled “Everyday life in the village – What was it like back then?”

The museum village is also a wonderful special place for family celebrations such as weddings, baptisms, or birthdays, creating unforgettable moments with its historic atmosphere.
