Description

Here you can leave everyday life behind and enjoy an exciting trip in the great outdoors: at Westküstenpark & Robbarium in St. Peter-Ording on the North Sea coast. The entire area is almost completely barrier-free and thus accessible to everyone.

Definitely exciting are the seal feedings (twice daily), where animal keepers introduce the animals to visitors, share information about their habitat and way of life, and even have them perform some tricks. In total, more than 800 other animals from around the world live on the 14.5-hectare site – from A for alpaca to Z for spiny turtle. With over 30 stork nesting pairs, Westküstenpark in the north also hosts the largest free-flying stork colony.

Directly next to the Wadden Sea National Park, Westküstenpark has developed into one of Schleswig-Holstein’s largest zoos, and its seal facility has won international awards.
