Description
The WIENXTRA-Spielebox in Vienna is a location of WIENXTRA, the children's and youth program of the City of Vienna. Here everything revolves around playing, learning, and trying things out: indoors, children and families can choose between leisure & play, learning & counseling, and workshops and creative activities.
A highlight is the role-play games: depending on the game, children step into the roles of detectives, knights, or magical heroes, experience a story together, and roll their way through challenges. In cooperation with Magica Austria, there are role-playing workshops that also introduce families to the game. No prior experience is needed; character sheets, dice, and game materials are provided – the children only need to bring stamina and creativity. 🎲
WIENXTRA is Vienna's children's and youth agency, working with the City of Vienna. Several venues run under its name, each with its own programme for children, teenagers and families – from children's cinema and games afternoons to media workshops and advice.
