Wild- und Freizeitpark Höllohe

Description
Goats, storks, or deer – nearly 200 animals from around 21 species roam freely at Wild- und Freizeitpark Höllohe. It’s the perfect place for anyone who wants to watch peacocks spin their tails, listen to the songs of exotic birds, or explore the underwater worlds of the native ponds – and all of this is free. A walking path circles the lake that gave the park its name and leads to a large forest playground that kids love. Both little and big nature explorers enjoy the pen with sheep and goats that you can feed. If you want to learn not only about the animals but also about the plants, the forest plant trail is the place to go. The connection between art and nature is celebrated with a poetry path featuring 25 nature poems. And after an educational stroll, if you want to dip your feet into cool water, you can at the nearby natural swimming lake Höllohe.
A perfect outing for the whole family!
