Description

The Wildpark Dünnwald invites families to experience young wild animals up close – for example, the European bison calves, including the female calf Ribana, born in 2021 🐂.

Adventurous visitors can get involved with the Förderverein Dünnwalder Wald und Wildpark e.V., helping with tasks like building benches, keeping the park clean, or packing feeding boxes on Wednesday afternoons – a hands-on way to enjoy nature and support environmental protection!

The park actively promotes nature conservation: besides reforesting with climate-resistant native trees, heavily visited areas are protected to preserve young plants. At the same time, the wild park maintains a healthy wild boar population by relocating selected animals, helping ensure the animals’ well-being.

A new highlight is the signpost tree, which helps you find your way around. This makes your walk through the park even more enjoyable!
