Wildpark Müden

Get up close to the animals – that’s what visitors experience at Wildpark Müden in the picturesque Örtze Valley. This year-round park stands out for its peaceful setting and a pleasantly family-friendly, cozy atmosphere. The park is especially known for its large enclosures. While home to a modest range of 30 species and about 200 animals, visitors have a great chance to make close contact with the animals.

Visitors can learn a lot during the daily feedings and get really close to the animals. The daily flight demonstrations by the falconry team, from March to October, also make the visit an experience for the whole family.

Besides showcasing local wildlife, the park offers a variety of programs and activities that make for a diverse day. During the daily flight shows and feeding sessions, our knowledgeable animal keepers share many fascinating facts in an entertaining way.

Animal-themed courses and guided tours: You can book special group tours, celebrate a child’s birthday, or take a beginner falconry course with us outside the usual schedule. Being close to visitors is very important to us; we focus strongly on the presence of our animal keepers and friendly service.

Animal-related side programs:

We offer close contact with animals in a family-friendly atmosphere. Visitors can relax at the snack bar during breaks while their children play on the playground or bounce on the inflatable cushions. In summer, holiday programs, barbecue evenings, and special events like Children’s Day or the Medieval Festival add to the fun.

All in all, we provide opportunities for research, education, and of course relaxation and adventure with animals in large enclosures featuring streams and ponds.

Insider tip: From June 10 to September 30, every Saturday from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM there’s a barbecue evening; park entry is free during this time. Refreshing drinks and tasty sides complete the offer and let body and soul unwind at the end of the day.
