Wolfcenter Dörverden

Wolfcenter Dörverden educates the public about wild wolves that are naturally spreading again in Germany. The staff show the many visitors the opportunities, risks, and challenges that come with their expansion. During a roughly one-hour guided tour, visitors learn all about the biology and ecology of wolves, with feedings adding an exciting touch to the program. Additionally, two large exhibits with real wolf specimens, amazing photographs, and interactive displays provide insight into the lives of these fascinating animals. Two nature playgrounds and a water play area give small guests room to run and play, while the restaurant "Wolfsrevier" offers freshly prepared dishes and treats. Those who want to stay overnight have a variety of options, including Indian tipis between the enclosures, guest rooms, and three exclusive stilt hotels, allowing you to listen to the wolves howl through the night.

On the grounds is Lorenzo's Alpaca Farm. Guided hikes of 2.5 to 3 hours (without breaks), with a maximum of 8 people, are offered.
