In the Desert House at Schönbrunn, fascinating plants and animals from deserts and arid regions await—ideal for curious children and families. Highlights include the 70-meter-long glass-tube labyrinth with naked mole-rats, the impressive black-tailed rattlesnakes and the popular Dr. Fish Tank, in which you can insert your hand so fish nibble gently. 🏜️🐢🐠

The exhibition covers about 2,000 m², has a stroller-friendly path, and can be explored in about 30–40 minutes. Tip: A combined ticket for the Desert House and the Palm House is worthwhile; for a full day there are also Desert House plus Labyrinth & Maze, Labyrinth Playground, Gloriette, and the Schönbrunn Panorama Railway. 🎟️🌿
