Železniční muzeum

Model railway enthusiasts can look forward to the TT model railway layout at the Železniční muzeum. Spanning 24.5 m² at 1:120 scale with a 12 mm track gauge, the layout is packed with detail 🚂.

• 90 locomotives and 170 cars
• A model cable railway
• 195 m of track and 105 switches

Another highlight is a recreated Nepomuk railway station from 1900 to 1958, shown with period vehicles and buildings, including a hand turntable and steam locomotive watering facilities, which no longer exist in real life. A planned exhibition of historical railway items is also in the works, featuring railway uniforms, kerosene lamps, signs, about 70,000 tickets, stamps, documents and display cases of model locomotives and wagons.
