The Zwölferhorn Seilbahn in Sankt Gilgen promises a unique mountain experience for the whole family! ⛰️ Since July 2024, it has been operating as the world's first cable car autonomously with pure solar energy. An eco-friendly adventure awaits! ☀️
The ride to the top is incredibly easy: The spacious gondolas are fully accessible and comfortably accommodate strollers, so families with the youngest children can also enjoy a relaxed journey.
It gets exciting at the top of the mountain! The circular hiking trail “Die Zwölfer Runde” invites you to playfully discover fascinating natural phenomena with an entertaining puzzle rally and twelve stations made of natural materials.
Especially for children, there's a lot to experience:
Face painting on the sun terrace (12:00 – 3:00 PM) 🎨
Clown Pedro entertains with balloon modeling and giant soap bubbles (11:30 AM – 2:30 PM) 🎈
Meet the friendly mascots “Zwölfi und Zwölfine” from the valley station to the summit cross.
Exciting Punch and Judy shows on the sun terrace (11:00 AM and 1:30 PM) 🎭
Additionally, visitors can explore a mini-museum dedicated to the legendary Von Trapp family, whose roots are deeply anchored in the Salzkammergut.
