3rd Hohnsteiner Fairy Tale Sparkle - Puppet Theater Märchenteppich Presents: "Sleeping Beauty"

In the chamber of the tower, the 13th fairy sits spinning. Threads of fate, threads of fairy tales slip through her fingers. The spinning wheel hums and the fairy begins to tell a story. “Once upon a time there was a king and a queen who said every day: ‘Oh, if only we had a child!’ – and yet they never had one...” She tells of the royal couple who forgot love in ancient times and brought much sorrow upon the people. And of a princess who curiously climbed the steps to the forbidden tower, of the hundred-year sleep and wonderful dreams. The fairy tells of a thorn hedge, a brave prince, a long kiss, and many roses that suddenly bloomed... because with Sleeping Beauty, love awakened in the land.
