44th Nativity Scene Exhibition in the Reitstadel

At the annual pre-Christmas nativity scene exhibition, you’ll discover the most beautiful examples in the foyer of the Reitstadel – from tiny nativity scenes in a nutshell to huge nativity landscapes with hundreds of figures. Admission is free, and you can admire around one hundred different nativity scenes from the region, most of which are privately owned and often depict unusual scenes and representations related to the birth of Christ. The variety of elaborately crafted nativity scenes made from a wide range of materials is impressive. You’ve never seen the birth of Jesus like this before!

Several events and guided tours take place as part of the nativity scene exhibition.
