Altwiener Christkindlmarkt (Old Vienna Christmas Market)

The Old Vienna Christkindlmarkt enchants Freyung with traditional stalls, lovingly crafted handicrafts and Christmas scents.

At around 60 stalls there are culinary delights and crafts to discover – delight, handmade and Christmas magic.

On the stage, an Advent program runs with music, puppet theatre and craft demonstrations; also a children’s program with puppet stages and children’s shows.

The market also features a donation drive and gift-wrapping activities in support of the Stiftung Kindertraum.
