Description

From October 23, 2026, to January 10, 2027, the historic Schwarzenberg Garden near Belvedere Palace transforms into an extraordinary world of light, sound and art.

During an atmospheric evening walk, families can discover glowing art installations, immersive soundscapes and surprising visual experiences. International and Austrian artists bring together nature, history and contemporary art in a truly magical setting.

One of the main highlights is “Museum of the Moon” by Luke Jerram — a spectacular, internally illuminated sculpture featuring detailed imagery of the lunar surface. It feels as though the moon has come down to Earth! 🌕

Along the illuminated walking route, visitors encounter creative light installations, atmospheric sound experiences and artistic surprises. A cozy Winter Garden with food and drinks adds to the festive atmosphere.

What to expect:

  • 🌕 The spectacular “Museum of the Moon” installation

  • ✨ International light art and immersive soundscapes

  • 🌳 An enchanting evening walk through a historic garden

  • 🎨 Creative and sometimes interactive art installations

  • ☕ A cozy winter atmosphere with food and drinks

  • 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 A memorable evening experience for families with children

Good to know: This is an outdoor event, so warm clothing and non-slip footwear are recommended. Entry requires a ticket for a specific time slot, with admission times varying by date.

A wonderful way to discover a magical side of Vienna during the autumn and winter season! 💜
