Annaberger Christmas Market

Crowned by the famous St. Anne's Church, the Annaberger Christmas Market invites you to the heart of the old town. This Erzgebirge trademark is visited by countless guests every year.

The large market pyramid, the huge Christmas tree, elf services for children, mining and tradition events, craft demonstrations, and regional delicacies reminiscent of grandma’s cooking create its special atmosphere.

Incense cones, Christmas scents, Annaberger folded stars, over 80 lovingly decorated stalls, as well as atmospheric Advent and Christmas music provide the unique ambiance that visitors from near and far so love and appreciate.

The Christmas market’s offerings are complemented by the so-called "Christmas Worlds," the Dream Manufactory, the Mining Nativity Scene in the St. Mary’s mining church, the Erzhammer Christmas House, as well as Advent concerts and Mettenspiele in St. Anne’s Church.
