Bartenwetzer Christmas Market
From November 27 to December 23, the Melsungen city center transforms into a particularly festive atmosphere of sparkling lights and vibrant colors.
Festive sounds and enticing scents invite the whole family, along with friends and coworkers, to the Melsungen Christmas Market, setting the mood for Advent and encouraging visitors to reflect on the best moments of 2026 while enjoying a delicious glass of mulled wine.
In the historic old town, over 300 Christmas trees create a festive mood. There is plenty to discover for both young and old: whether carousel rides or handcrafted art, punch or mulled wine, gifts for yourself or others – no wishes are left unfulfilled!
A music program on weekends adds to the Christmas spirit.
