Spring is finally here, the sun is shining bright again, and the flowers are starting to bloom. Büsum is joyfully kicking off the new season! From March 27 to 29, we warmly invite you to the Büsumer Kite Flying Days – a colorful and lively festival for the whole family that you won’t want to miss. A fantastic program full of color and fun awaits you.

The Watt’n Island is the perfect place for this special event. From afar, you can see the colorful kites dancing in the sky over Büsum in all sorts of shapes and colors. Particularly impressive are the giant standing figures that you can experience up close. The kite flyers are excited to show you everything and answer your questions – be curious and stop by!

Want to fly your own kite? Then visit the kite shop right on Watt’n Island and pick out your dream kite. You can fly your kite north of the dog beach at beach access 14 – whether it’s one you bought or brought with you.
