CityLebenstedt Christmas Market

CityLebenstedt Christmas Market is the largest Christmas market in Salzgitter and takes place in the pedestrian zone of Lebenstedt. There you will find a wide range of culinary delights that create a festive atmosphere.

Especially for families, there are varied children's activities, such as pony rides at some Christmas markets in the region – a wonderful experience for the little ones 🐴.

A highlight is the Advent gathering at the museum grounds by the castle in Salder on the third Advent weekend, featuring special children's and stage programs, handmade goods, as well as regional food and activities from local clubs.

At the same time, a Christmas tree cutting event takes place in the adjacent forest, organized by the Lower Saxony State Forests.
