Gifhorner Christmas Market

During Advent, the Christmas market fills the Gifhorn pedestrian zone with festive cheer. Lovingly decorated stalls offer culinary specialties such as roasted almonds, crepes, mulled wine, bratwurst, and hand bread. The cozy "fireplace room" invites you to pause and linger, events take place in the "Christmas hut," and the charitable "Good Booth" offers handicrafts, among other things.

Children's carousels, a magical Ferris wheel, puppet theater, musical performances and Advent singing, kids' crafts, winter fire shows, a blacksmith, family and senior afternoons, apres-ski, and after-work Christmas parties complete the Christmas market experience in Gifhorn.

The Christmas market is open daily from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and stays open longer for special events.

Biodegradable cutlery as well as reusable cups and mugs must be used. Energy-saving lights are used at the stalls. The central area of the Christmas market is located directly at a public transport bus stop. Nearby public parking lots have electric charging stations. On weekends, parking at the Scottish Mill parking lot is free.
