Gundelsheim Christmas Market

Christmas market with a festive atmosphere: lantern procession, Advent songs, castle tours, brass and choir concerts, as well as exhibitions featuring jewelry, art, and regional winemaking – three days full of music, culture, and Christmas spirit.

The Christmas market in Gundelsheim delights visitors every year with its festive ambiance and diverse program. Music, culture, and shared Advent experiences make it a special meeting point during the pre-Christmas season.

Besides the cultural program, the exhibitions are also well worth a visit:

- The Transylvanian Museum in Horneck Castle is open on Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM with free admission.

- In the foyer of the Deutschmeisterhalle, visitors can admire an exhibition of platinum and gold jewelry and paintings on Saturday from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

- In addition, the association Kulturetta e.V. presents the exhibition “Winemaking in Gundelsheim” at Schloßstraße 19: Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Saturday from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and Sunday from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

- Lantern procession with the Christ Child and Saint Nicholas from the town hall to Schloßstraße

- Welcome and opening by Mayor Heike Schokatz

- Children from the municipal daycare centers sing Christmas carols together and decorate the Christmas tree at the fountain

- Musical entertainment by "Bläsergruppe Gundelsheim" at the fountain in Schloßstraße
