Hunteburger Christmas Market

Description
The Hunteburger Christmas Market kicks off on the first Sunday of Advent with a festive church service at 11 a.m., marking the start of the market which begins at 12:00 p.m. In a charming setting around the church tower, a small but delightful Christmas market is set up. You'll find arts and crafts, nativity scenes, handmade goods, treats that are regional and fairly traded.
There’s also plenty to satisfy your appetite. Pea soup, coffee and cake, fries and bratwurst and pizza, mulled wine and delicious hot cocoa, and much more are offered.
The program features music for young and old and pony rides from the Hunteburger Riding and Driving Club. Kindergarten and school children and the Bohmter Children's Choir sing Christmas songs. The brass band plays with full sound, and by the campfire light, our Hunteburger night watchman will visit the Christmas market.
A special highlight will be the church lit from inside — a reflective spot inviting you to relax during the Advent season.
In the late afternoon, the Hunteburger Business Association will again raffle Hunteburger gift certificates. Tickets can be purchased at the market (and in advance at Kiebitzmarkt and Melli's Flower Shop). The finale will be the auction of the Christmas tree decorated by the children. The proceeds benefit the Kindergarten and School Support Association.
A cozy, family-friendly Christmas market on a beautiful church square invites everyone to spend the first Advent with friends, neighbors, and family in Hunteburg. We look forward to seeing each other!
