Lebkuchen-Express

The Lebkuchen-Express is a festively decorated train through the Waldviertel – ideal for families 🎄🚂.

On board there is a selection of gingerbread and cookies for children and adults; mulled wine is served for adults, and children get children's punch. The train also stops at Altnagelberg station: there you can take a souvenir photo in front of a historic diesel locomotive and warm up at the campfire.

The train is stroller-friendly and advertised as family-friendly – it runs even in bad weather. There is an Advent market.
