Legends, Fairy Tales, and Stories

Hamburg Accordion Orchestra Fortuna from 1938, led by Melanie Backes, invites you to its autumn concert on Saturday, November 21, 2026.

Under the title "Legends, Fairy Tales, and Stories," the orchestra takes you on a journey through the world of fairy tales, telling tales of dark kingdoms full of intrigue and bringing the old dream of the dishwasher turned millionaire back to life.

The program combines classical accordion sounds with new arrangements, offering a broad musical insight into the possibilities of this versatile instrument.

By the way: The 2026 Instrument of the Year is the accordion.
