Light & Music Show Hofburg

The facade of the Hofburg transforms into a universe of light, color and magic ✨. In the Light & Music Show Hofburg, the little creature Oops, with its big heart, chases a lost red balloon through imaginative worlds. Along the way, you can experience the following:

• An encounter with the famous elephant Soliman
• The glowing colors of the Indian Holi festival
• A museum where artworks come to life
• Journeys to ancient Egypt, prehistoric times and even outer space

The music is by South Tyrolean music pioneer Giorgio Moroder, and the show is staged by the French company Spectaculaires – Allumeurs d'Images. The story revolves around friendship, diversity, courage and hope, and invites young and old to an experience that sparks the imagination. At about 20 minutes, the show is compact and well suited to younger viewers. It also pairs nicely with a visit to the Advent market.

The show received the Gold Award at the Eventex Awards 2026 and took first place in the "Cultural Event" category.
