Sterzinger Glockenweihnacht Christmas Market

The Sterzinger Glockenweihnacht 🎄 is a Christmas market in the historic old town of Sterzing, especially well suited to relaxed family time. The compact old town, the atmospheric setting and many small experiences let you wander at your own pace.

The landmark is a 25-bell carillon 🔔 on the Zwölferturm, built by the Innsbruck bell foundry Grassmayr. It rings daily and is a real highlight for young and old.

There is plenty for little ones to discover too:

• Kids can craft their own Christmas tree ornaments
• Freshly baked Spitzbuam, Zelten and Stollen, plus warm drinks at the stands
• On December 5, the traditional Tuifltog takes place, an evening in Krampus style.

The market is one of the five original South Tyrolean Christkindlmärkte and is certified as a Green Event by KlimaLand Südtirol Alto Adige.
