Lichterfestival 2026

The Lichterfestival 2026 takes place on Saturday, December 5. Stroll through the illuminated Neustädter city center, marvel at spectacular light installations, and enjoy a fantastic supporting program from La-Ferté-Macé-Platz to Kirchplatz starting at 5 p.m. Artistic fire shows, projections, glowing walk acts, and a varied selection of food and drink create the perfect setting for an enchanting evening. A very special highlight is the large laser show, which will delight visitors at regular intervals on Kirchplatz. In between, there will be exciting live music.

Starting at 3 p.m. on Kirchplatz, the Children's Light Festival kicks off for the whole family. There is everything to make children's hearts beat faster: a face painting station and a fantastic animation program from TanzCentrum Kressler.

Come to the Neustädter city center on December 5 and experience a festival of joy and light. We look forward to your visit!
