Meißen Christmas

The Meißen Christmas transforms the Meißen marketplace from November to December into a magical Christmas land. Over 40 festively decorated stalls invite you to discover handcrafted treasures, including Erzgebirge wood carvings, Christmas decorations, candles, plum jam pastries, and ceramics.

Every day, an advent calendar opens its doors: on weekdays at 5:00 PM, on weekends already at 3:30 PM, and on Christmas Eve even at 11:00 AM.

There is plenty of excitement especially for children: Santa Claus visits every Saturday and Sunday around 4:30 PM and on Christmas Eve at 11:00 AM. Creative kids can also make their own Christmas gifts at the 3 H shop on Elbstraße 8 – supervised by Carola Müller.
