Visit from Saint Nicholas at the ice rink – supported by Westenergie

A touch of Christmas magic fills the ice rink in Traben-Trarbach: On Sunday, December 6, 2026, at 4:00 PM, the ice rink will receive a special visit. Saint Nicholas stops by and brings a surprise for the little guests – of course, only while supplies last.

Once again this year, the visit from Saint Nicholas is generously supported by Westenergie. Westenergie helps bring special joy to children and families during Advent and strengthens the local community spirit.

Saint Nicholas will take plenty of time for his young visitors. Anyone who wants to meet him personally, exchange a few words, or take a keepsake photo is warmly welcome. And of course, singing popular Christmas carols together is a cherished part of the Saint Nicholas visit. When young and old sing together, it creates the special pre-Christmas atmosphere that makes this afternoon so wonderful.

Free entry for real Saint Nicholases

There’s also a very special surprise: Anyone who comes to the ice rink that afternoon in a complete Saint Nicholas costume with jacket and hat will receive free admission.

This makes the Saint Nicholas visit a special experience for the whole family – with little surprises, personal encounters, and a big dose of Christmas cheer.

The organizers look forward to seeing many little and big Saint Nicholases and enjoying a festive afternoon at the ice rink.
