Ride on the Vulkan-Express
Description
On the nearly 18 km narrow-gauge line from Brohl am Rhein to Engeln in the Eifel, our train crosses several high viaducts and passes through a tunnel almost 100 meters long. Almost 400 meters of elevation are conquered! On most days, our trains are pulled by green and beige painted diesel locomotives. Experience how our engines have to give their all, especially on the steep section between Oberzissen and Engeln, to get the train to its destination on time! On select days, we also regularly use our historic steam locomotive "11sm."

11:40 AM or 3:40 PM arrival at Engeln
from Engeln
11:50 AM or 4:30 PM
1:00 PM or 5:40 PM arrival at Brohl/Rhein
